Functions of IQAC:
  1. To design and develop appropriate quality system procedures for academic and administrative activities of the institution in consultation with all the concerned members
  2. To educate, train, counsel and motivate all the members to effectively implement the developed quality system procedures.
  3. To identify and train a group of internal quality monitoring members to monitor the effective implementation of the quality system procedure.
  4. To make a significant and meaningful contribution in the post-accreditation phase through channelizing the efforts and measures of an institution towards academic excellence.
  5. Development and application of quality benchmarks
  6. Facilitating the creation of a learner-centric environment conducive to quality education and faculty maturation to adopt the required knowledge and technology for participatory teaching and learning process.
  7. Organization of inter and intra institutional workshops, seminars on quality related themes and promotion of quality circles.
  8. Documentation of the various programmes/activities leading to quality improvement.
  9. Acting as a nodal agency of the Institution for coordinating quality-related activities, including adoption and dissemination of best practices.
  10. Development and maintenance of institutional database through MIS for the purpose of maintaining /enhancing the institutional quality.
  11. Periodical conduct of Academic and Administrative Audit and its follow-up.
  12. Preparation and submission of the Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR) as per guidelines and parameters of NAAC.

  1. IQAC will facilitate to ensure clarity and focus in institutional functioning towards quality enhancement.
  2. IQAC will contribute to ensure internalization of the quality culture.
  3. IQAC will contribute to ensure enhancement and coordination among various activities of the institution and institutionalize all good practices.
  4. IQAC will facilitate to ensure provide a sound basis for decision-making to improve institutional functioning.
  5. IQAC will contribute to ensure act as a dynamic system for quality changes in HEIs.
  6. IQAC will contribute to ensure build an organized methodology of documentation and internal communication.

The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) for the Academic Session 2020-2021. The prime task of the IQAC is to develop a system for conscious, consistent and catalytic improvement in the performance of institutions.
